Volunteer Hours

The school is asking that each family contribute 35 volunteer hours per school year. Since we are a charter school, we only receive 80% of the funding that other public schools in our district receive. To help to bridge that financial gap, we are really relying on volunteers to help the school run smoothly.

How Can I Volunteer?

  • Classroom Support
  • Lunch and Recess support
  • Reading buddies – come read one and one with the students
  • Take home projects for the teachers
  • Morning Drop-off and Pick-up (help directing traffic)
  • Field Trip Supervision
  • Project – if you have an amazing idea for the class or the entire school please contact Miranda about coordination of these events
  • All School Social Events – Coordinators (Pumpkin Patch, bowling, swimming, etc.)

MISSION STATEMENT

Rooted in our local community, we learn in an authentic Montessori environment, growing as conscientious and joyful learners, inspired to lead in the world community.
